The driving force behind RuK is our non-profit organization, PROJECT NOVA. For every RuK Pack purchased, RuK donates one solar light to villages in Kinsasha, in the Democratic Republic of Congo. These villages lack the infrastructure for electricity and the majority of these people have never seen electricity before.

With the donation of these solar lights, we are helping enable nighttime education, increase security, and create a brighter future for the Congolese.

In the past year, Project-Nova was able to distribute solar lights to thousands of people in various villages outside of Kinshasa, in the Democratic Republic of Congo (“DRC”). Project-Nova continues to expand this mission and is s dedicated to enabling lighting infrastructure innovation for homes, schools, and orphanages in Africa, that currently do not have these resources available.
